Privacy policy

Last updated 26 August 2026.

This website is operated by Directory.com.au Pty Ltd (ABN 68 090 816 461), trading as webdesign.style. We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

When you submit an enquiry we collect what you give us: your name, business name, email address, phone number and the details of your project. We also record the IP address the submission came from and the time it was made, which we use to detect abuse of the forms. We do not use advertising or analytics cookies on this site.

Why we collect it

To respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote, and deliver work you engage us for. We use it for nothing else.

Who we share it with

Nobody, other than service providers who process it on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, such as our email and hosting providers, and where we are required to by law. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Client project data

When we build or maintain a website for you we may have access to your systems, content and customer data. We treat all of it as confidential, use it only to carry out the work, and remove our access when the engagement ends. We will sign a confidentiality agreement on request.

Storage, security and retention

Submissions are transmitted over HTTPS and delivered by email, with a short audit record kept on the server. We take reasonable steps to protect information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, but no method of transmission over the internet is completely secure. We keep enquiry and project records for as long as needed to provide the service, deal with any dispute, and meet our legal obligations.

Access, correction and deletion

You can ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through our contact form and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Complaints

Contact us first through the contact form. If you are not satisfied with our response you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.

Changes

We may update this policy. The version published here is the current one and the date above shows when it last changed.
